The City of Whitehorse Parks and Public Open Space Bylaw
City Council approved this bylaw in 2015.

City of Whitehorse Regional Parks Plan

The Regional Plan was approved by City Council in June 2014. The City will develop a park management plan for the 5 proposed regional parks. Chadburn Park planning began in Fall 2015 and was completed and approved by City Council in June of 2017. See Issues, Chadburn Lake.

Downloadable maps of the parks are attached below.

Quote from City's webpage:
"Five new parks were created in the 2010 Official Community Plan to reflect environmental and recreational values:
  • Chadburn Lake Park
  • McIntyre Creek Park
  • Paddy's Pond - Ice Lake Park
  • McLean Lake Park
  • Wolf Creek Park
The creation of these Regional Parks will ensure wilderness at our door-step for future generations.  Now that these Parks have been set aside, let's envision what we want them to be! "

City of Whitehorse - Schwatka Lake Area Plan
The Schwatka Lake Area Plan was approved by Council in 2015. The Schwatka Lake Area Plan Working Group met for the first time in April 2015.  http://www.whitehorse.ca/home/showdocument?id=5158

ATWA is represented on this Working Group, althought as of 2021 it has not met for years.
